This platform didn't start as a product. It started at our kitchen table.
My wife is a bookkeeper. She learned the way most bookkeepers do — piecing together YouTube videos, scrolling Intuit help docs, asking forums, and figuring out the rest the hard way. She wasn't bad at it. She was great at it. But she had this nagging feeling that there had to be a better way to actually learn the skill instead of just stumbling into it.
So I asked her: "If you could go back to when you were learning, what would you have wanted?" Her answer changed everything. "Something that made me practice. Not just watch."
That was the seed. I started building her something. Practice questions she could drill. Flashcards for the terms she always forgot. Realistic scenarios based on the messy, real-world situations she dealt with at work. A way to test what she actually knew, not just what she'd seen.
It worked. She used it. It helped her grow in her career and in her confidence. And we realized — if it helped her, it'll help others. The people trying to learn bookkeeping right now.
